Karmic
1996-1998 & 1999-2000

Karmic was the first real band that I joined, after having played jazz in college. The band was an Eastown staple; we performed in West Michigan and along the U.S. east coast as part of the Homegrown Music Network. Playing with Glenn, John, Jamie, Russ, Chris, and Reggie produced a blast of creative energy. Fortunately the band was recorded often, and several bootlegs exist that capture the spirit of the band’s improvisational proclivities. The Trippin’ Through Time from Creekfest 1997 (below) was an especially good time.
